2024 Formula 1 Academy Season: Teams and Drivers

The 2024 Formula 1 Academy season promises to be an exciting one, with significant changes and new collaborations. Here's a detailed look at the teams and drivers taking part this season.

The Teams & Drivers

For the 2024 season, Formula 1 Academy will feature five main teams with their drivers:

  • Carrie Schreiner
  • Nerea Martí
3. MP Motorsport
  • Emely de Heus

5. Rodin Carlin

Each of these teams will field three cars, making a total of 15 cars and 15 drivers.

The Drivers

One of the most exciting aspects of the 2024 season is that each Formula 1 team will have a driver and livery in the Formula 1 Academy. This means that 10 of the 15 drivers will be nominated by the Formula 1 teams, and each team will have its own livery on a car. The remaining five drivers will be supported by other partners, with announcements to follow.

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of the F1 Academy, expressed her gratitude to the Formula 1 teams for their support and vision. She emphasized that this milestone demonstrates the depth of support for the F1 Academy within the F1 community and will inspire an entire generation of young girls to realize the opportunities both on and off the track.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, added that the creation of the F1 Academy aims to make a real and lasting change to ensure that young female talent has the right system to follow and realize their dreams.
